Missions are Important

Even though we are a local church located in Venice Florida we have a Global Vision!!! We support different Mission groups and endeavors all over the world.

We have been involved in missions for years and as we establish The Fisherman's Net Community Church one of our most important visions is both National and Global Missions. This is done in various ways, to include:

• Support of Local Ministers
• Short Term Mission Trips
• Medical Missions
• Prayer

We have a special love and burden for the wonderful people of the Philippines. This is not only because Joy is from Davao City in the Philippines but even Jim has spent time there long before he ever met Joy. The Filipino people are a generally kind and good people that even though they often have not much, they share what they with joy. We have traveled and preached in dozens of countries and believe that the Philippines is a very strategic country in God's plan for world evangelism.

You can travel anywhere in the world and find a Filipino working hard in the background somewhere. They are respected for their hard working, non-complaining attitude. Now God is using Filipino Christians all over the world, they are in places everywhere where normally Christians

This conference was a total success with more than 500 pastors and leaders attending! The women's conference had over 400! This was totally the grace of God as we were unknown speakers but had a heart to unite and bless the pastors.

These took place in the world's largest city, Davao City, Mindanao. This is one of the prettiest city's you can find in Asia with some of the most open and wonderful people you will ever meet. We fell in love with the city and the pastors that we met.
