Net Menders School of Ministry

Meets every Thursday night 7-9pm.

The purpose of this school of ministry is to provide: practical teaching, impartation, training, encouragement and deployment in all areas of ministry. It meets one hour before the regular classes.

Biblical Inspiration: In the Old Testament we read of schools of Prophets where the students were mentored and trained. In the New Testament we see Jesus with the “3”, “12” and also with the “50”. There was teaching, private times, public times, accountability, encouragement (and rebuke at times).  This was coupled with tasks that they were given under the watchful eye of Jesus.

Our goal is to offer a similar training with personal mentorship and delegated responsibility under the supervision of the leadership. This training will be both public and private. The school will have an emphasis on encouragement and positive correction through:

Teaching: Both through the Bible School and in our special meetings.

Impartation: Provide an opportunity and   atmosphere where impartation of spiritual gifting is encouraged.

Encouragement: One of our primary goals  is to be a constant encouragement in our   student’s lives.

Training: As each student grows in knowledge and inspiration we want to provide the opportunity for them to grow in practical experience. This is an area often forgotten. Knowledge is important but the student also needs to find a way to apply that knowledge, translating it into practical application. This is first done while under supervision; secondly by being given a delegated responsibility an accountability.

Mentoring: We feel one of the greatest needs in helping new ministries is spiritual fathers and mothers. They mentor by personal relationships and modeling. Each student will have such a person in his or her life.
